Meet Murda Madison

Meet upcoming artist Thomiek Darns, also known by his stage name Murda Madison, hailing from Bedstuy, Brooklyn.

He began making music during his early teen years, around age 13. However he didn’t begin to take it seriously until around 2016. This is when the hobby turned into a career for Murda Madison. Having grown up around others who were involved in the music scene, he quickly adapted and began to progress. Quoted from an interview, “It just always stuck out to me that one of my uncles is a super producer, it’s in my blood”.

Murda Madison has a very relaxed and laid back style. Mainly creating music under the Hip-Hop genre, he focuses on his lyrics and wordplay. He is always testing new sounds to explore his musical talent further. His most successful track is titled “Dancing in Heaven”, which gained the most views out of all of his tracks. He also mentioned that the song had meant the most to him, as it was a tribute to his brothers that he had lost.

He is inspired by several people around him, including Smoove L, Sha Gualla, and Popoutboyz. They all come from the same block and they have shown him to never give up. He is also a father to his son and daughter, and he wants to be able to leave a legacy behind for them. This is only the beginning for Murda Madison and we will see more from him in the near future.
